Accuracy and sources

We aim to support factual claims with sources readers can inspect. For announcements, release details, patch notes, and system changes, we prefer primary sources such as official game sites, developer or publisher announcements, patch notes, and in-game information. Reputable reporting and community documentation can provide context, but we identify interpretation as interpretation and do not treat an unsourced community claim as confirmed fact.

When a detail is uncertain, disputed, or likely to change, we should say so and avoid presenting an estimate as a confirmed value. Source links are included where available and useful to the reader.

Testing and time-sensitive advice

Builds, guides, and recommendations can depend on game version, platform, region, mode, progression, or player goals. We identify important conditions and flag details that need verification. We aim to check patch-sensitive advice against current official information or the live game where practical; a note that verification is required means that detail should not be treated as confirmed for every current version.

Unless an article explicitly says otherwise, a published guide is not a promise that every strategy has been independently tested across all versions or player situations. Readers should use judgment when applying advice to a different version or context.

Updates and corrections

When we materially revise an article, we update its displayed date. Corrections should fix the error and, when useful to readers, explain what changed. We do not change an article merely to conceal a mistake.

There is not yet a public contact channel for submitting corrections. We will add one to the Contact page before inviting readers to send feedback or personal information.

Authorship and review

Articles identify their author and link to an author profile. PCQuestline is currently written by David. We will identify additional editorial review when it takes place; a page is not described as independently reviewed unless that review has occurred.

Advertising and conflicts

Advertising and promotional links should be distinguishable from editorial recommendations. We disclose confirmed sponsorships, affiliate links, or other material relationships near the related content. Commercial relationships should not dictate editorial conclusions. See our Affiliate disclosure.

Use of images and other material

We aim to use images and other material that we create, are authorized to use, or can otherwise lawfully publish. Where an attribution or credit is needed, we should provide it with the material or in the relevant page context. Image descriptions should help readers understand meaningful content; decorative images may use empty alternative text.

Reader feedback

We want readers to be able to point out errors and unclear explanations. Once a public contact method is available, send the page URL and the specific claim or passage in question through our Contact page.
